What joy it is to dance the paths of light
And tread the shifting rivers of the sun,
To bathe oneself in waterfalls so bright
And with the universe become as one.
The moon rejoices in its silver gleam,
Translucent radiance within the night,
And, shedding down a gloried rippling stream,
Creates a mystic watercourse of sight.
The stars break forth, and shining from the deep,
As jewels amidst a blackness and a mist,
They wheel and turn, and o'er the world they keep
A sparkling silver vigilance and tryst.
The beams and lights flow back from pole to pole,
And drown the world in stunning radiance,
They pierce and rend the very heart a
Beyond the silvered courses of the stars,
Imagination spreads her misty cloak
Above the altar of my dreams, and chars
The incense of a fantasy to smoke.
Then mounting swift upon the rising fumes,
The scent of dreams and fantasy displays
Unto my mind a dreamscape that then looms
Before my eyes and tempts me down its ways.

Requiem for Glimmermoon, 01
Before the fall of silver'd Glimmermoon,
The breezes blew amidst the columned stones,
And though the coming peril slept at noon,
At night it haunts the alleys as it moans.
The twisting fate of horror, blood, and death
Attacks the sanity of all who dwell
Within the walls, and with each gasping breath,
Reams away their life into a hell.
The Lord is risen, let the nations sing,
Let the earth break forth and praise our King,
Hear the people shout and the sea rejoice,
And the rocks cry out with a single voice.
Holy is the Lamb and holy is our God,
And holy is the Spirit of Life;
Glory to our God and glory to his Son,
Our redeemer, Jesus Christ!
I want to know a million things
That all have gone before,
The secrets of the universe,
And what the stars are for,
The mysteries of sun and moon,
And earth and sky and sea,
And how the God of heaven thinks,
And what he thinks of me.
I want to know a thousand things
Pertaining to the earth,
About the seasons, days, and years,
And what my life is worth,
About the rocks, about the trees,
About the streams and ponds,
And why the spirit part of me
Is held in mortal bonds.
I want to know a hundred things
About the people here,
Of what they dream, for what they live,
And what it is they fear,
And what they want, and why they
I walk thru the fields
and sing 'neath the sun,
I think of defeats
and the vic'try's I've won,
I remember adventures
and friends that are gone,
and the call of the road leads me on.
Thru the forests I wander,
and I walk by the shore,
I sleep in poor huts
and the castles of yore,
The seasons roll o'er me
as they've done long before,
and the road is my home evermore.
I sit by the fire,
and remember the years
of glory and honor
and the quelling of fears,
and the voices of loved ones
and their songs fill my ears,
and I follow a road filled with tears.
But still I press on,
and the clouds roll away,
and my spirits are lifted
Well, I'm runnin' 'cross the nations now
And I'm sailin' o' the sea
I seen near all of God's creation
It's a good way for life to be
But sometimes the journey's lonely
Event though I love to roam
So I just close my eyes when my heart cries
And the mem'ries take me home
Chorus:
I want my rivers and my mountains
I want my streets, my sky and song
I want my wind, my rain, my sun and moon
'cause home is where my heart belongs
Whether in Europe or in Asia
In Vietnam or Germany
Down in Australia's costal cities
Or in the great Serengeti
Walkin' thru jungles or the tundra
In Shanghai, Cairo, or L.A.
No matter where I am in this ol
When life is sinking under
Seems like we always hit the ground
The world breaks up like thunder
And people shout but make no sound
That's when while darkness descends
We hear the voice that sings a song
While all the world just pretends
That all or nothing has gone wrong
And still we lift our hands up
To throw our life at someone's door
Because if we could help us
We wouldn't need help anymore
No man can save his own soul
Or keep from dying all alone
Our lives are for another
Since we can't keep them on our own
And so we live as always
With death just waiting at the door
Sut still we see the sunlight
And live another momen
